Your contacts are the audience for everything you send. ReploChat's contact manager lets you import them, organise them with labels, and build the segments your campaigns and flows target — all while respecting opt-in.
Add contacts
- Open Contacts from the navigation.
- Add a single contact manually, or import a list (e.g. CSV) to add many at once.
- Make sure phone numbers are in full international format (country code included).
- Apply labels as you import so contacts are segmented from the start.
Organise with labels
Labels are how you turn a flat contact list into useful audiences. Common schemes:
- Lifecycle — new lead, active customer, dormant.
- Source — website, click-to-WhatsApp ad, walk-in.
- Interest — product line, location, plan tier.
When you create a campaign, you target a label instead of "everyone" — which keeps messages relevant and your quality rating healthy.
Opt-in is the rule
Only message people who agreed to hear from you. Clean, consented lists protect your number from blocks and reports — the fastest way to lose your sending ability is to message people who never opted in.
Contacts and your team
Contacts belong to the workspace, so managers you invite see and use the same contact base and the same limit — see Team & Permissions.
Frequently asked
What format should phone numbers be in? International format with country code (for example +92… or +1…), no spaces or symbols needed beyond the leading +.
How do I handle opt-outs? When someone asks to stop, label them as opted-out and exclude that label from campaigns. Honouring opt-outs promptly is both good practice and a Meta requirement.
Can I raise my contact limit? Yes — see Plans, Billing & Limits.
