This guide explains how billing works in ReploChat: the free trial, choosing a monthly or yearly plan, paying by bank transfer, plan limits and usage meters, and what happens when a plan ends. It also explains the one cost that doesn't come from us: WhatsApp message fees, which Meta bills to your own WhatsApp Business Account. Everything here happens on the Billing page, which only the workspace owner can open.
Your free trial
- Every new workspace gets one free trial of a paid plan: the plan you picked on the pricing page, or our standard trial plan if you signed up directly.
- The trial lasts 3 days by default. The exact length is set by ReploChat and shown when you sign up. It starts when you verify your email.
- No card or payment is needed to start.
- The Billing page shows Free trial, the plan name, the end date and how many days are left.
Use the trial to connect your number, get a template approved and test the inbox, AI assistant and campaigns with real customers. You can pay for a plan at any time during the trial.
The Billing page
Open Settings → Billing & plans. From top to bottom it shows:
- Current plan: name, Trial ends or Renews / ends date, and days left.
- Usage: a meter for every plan limit.
- Payment status: a request being checked, or the reason a payment was declined.
- Choose a plan: plan cards with a Monthly / Yearly switch.
- Payment steps: bank details and receipt upload, once you pick a plan.
- Billing history: every trial, plan and payment request.
Monthly or yearly
Flip the switch above the plans to see monthly or yearly prices. A yearly plan costs the same as 10 months, so you get 2 months free. You can choose yearly when you first pay or when you renew. Current prices are on the pricing page.
PKR or USD: how your currency is chosen
Businesses in Pakistan pay in Pakistani rupees (PKR). Everyone else pays in US dollars (USD). There's no currency switch. ReploChat decides it like this:
- On the website, prices follow your location.
- Inside your workspace, the timezone on your business profiles decides: a profile set to Asia/Karachi means PKR, and profiles only in other timezones mean USD. Before any profile has a timezone, your browser's timezone is used.
- After your first payment is approved, the currency is locked. The Billing page says the currency your workspace pays in, and later timezone changes don't affect it.
Pay by bank transfer
Plans are paid by bank transfer. Card payments aren't available yet.
- On Billing, choose Monthly or Yearly and click a plan card.
- Under 1. Transfer the amount, note the exact amount and our bank details: account title, bank, account number and IBAN. Use Copy to avoid typos.
- Make the transfer from your banking app, or deposit at a branch.
- Under 2. Upload the receipt, add a photo, screenshot or PDF of the receipt (up to 5 MB).
- Optionally enter the Transaction / reference number. This speeds up checking.
- Press Send for confirmation.
A Payment being checked box appears with the plan, cycle and amount. Your current plan or trial keeps running while we check, so nothing stops in the meantime.
Approval
- Approved: you get an email and an in-app notification, and the plan becomes active immediately with its new end date.
- Renewing early: if you pay for the same plan before it ends, the new period starts when the current one ends, so you never lose days.
- Declined: the Billing page shows We couldn't confirm your last payment and the reason (for example, the amount didn't match). Upload a new receipt to try again.
- Changed your mind? Press Withdraw on a request that's still being checked. Sending a new request replaces the waiting one.
Plan limits and usage meters
Each plan sets how much of ReploChat you can use. The Usage section shows used / max for each limit, or ∞ when it's unlimited. A bar turns amber at 70% and red at 90%.
| Meter | What counts |
|---|---|
| WhatsApp numbers | Connected numbers |
| Contacts | Saved contacts |
| Templates | Message templates created |
| Campaigns | Campaigns created |
| Flows | WhatsApp Flows forms |
| Team members | Managers you've added |
| Business profiles | Business profiles |
| AI replies this month | Automatic AI answers, reset monthly |
| Active chatbots | Chatbots switched on |
| Active follow-ups | Follow-up sequences switched on |
| Quick replies | Saved quick replies |
Some features are included or not rather than counted: Flows & chatbots, Mobile app and Shopify & WooCommerce. Each plan card lists them. When you reach a limit, ReploChat tells you what ran out, for example Your plan allows 5 campaigns and you're using them all. Upgrade on the Billing page. Managers are told to ask the owner.
Upgrading
To move to a bigger plan, pick it on the Billing page and pay as above. When the payment is approved the new plan replaces the old one immediately (the history shows the old one as Replaced), and the higher limits apply straight away. Compare plans on pricing.
When a plan or trial ends
- The owner is taken to Billing with the message Your plan has ended. Choose a plan to continue. Other pages stay locked until a plan is active again.
- Managers see Your workspace has no active plan. Ask the account owner to choose one.
- Your contacts, chats, templates and settings stay in your workspace. When you pay and the payment is approved, everything is where you left it.
- Campaigns and automations can't be started without an active plan. Renew a few days early so nothing pauses.
Meta's WhatsApp message fees
Your ReploChat plan is our software fee. WhatsApp message fees are separate and come from Meta:
- Meta charges per message, by category (marketing, utility, authentication, service) and by the recipient's country.
- Meta bills your own WhatsApp Business Account directly. Add a payment method in Meta Business Settings or WhatsApp Manager.
- ReploChat adds 0% markup. We never resell or mark up messages.
Meta publishes its current rates on its WhatsApp Business Platform pricing page. Marketing messages generally cost more than utility messages, so choose your template categories carefully.
