ReploChat connects to your WhatsApp Business number through Meta's official Cloud API. Instead of scanning a QR code, you authorise ReploChat with three credentials from your Meta WhatsApp Business setup. This guide walks through exactly where to find them and how to connect.
Before you begin
- You need a Meta Business account and a WhatsApp Business app set up in the Meta for Developers / WhatsApp Manager.
- Your business should be verified with Meta to lift messaging limits.
- Have a dedicated phone number that is not active on the consumer WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app.
The three values you'll copy
| Value | Where it comes from | What it's for |
|---|---|---|
| Access Token | Meta WhatsApp Business → API setup | Authorises ReploChat to send/receive on your behalf |
| Phone Number ID | WhatsApp Manager → your number | Identifies which number messages go through |
| WhatsApp Business ID | WhatsApp Manager → account | Links your number to your business account |
Step-by-step
- In ReploChat, go to WhatsApp Accounts and choose Connect / Add Account.
- Paste your Access Token, Phone Number ID, and WhatsApp Business ID.
- Save. ReploChat verifies the credentials against Meta's API and stores them securely.
- Configure the webhook in your Meta app so inbound messages and delivery/read receipts reach ReploChat (see below).
- Send yourself a test message to confirm two-way delivery.
Set up the webhook
For ReploChat to receive replies, delivery updates, and template status changes, point your Meta app's webhook to ReploChat's WhatsApp webhook endpoint and subscribe to the messages events. You'll provide a verify token (configured by your administrator) and Meta will confirm the connection. Once verified, every inbound message opens a 24-hour service window in which your team can reply freely from the inbox.
Connecting more than one number
Your plan's connect WhatsApp limit controls how many numbers you can link. If you manage several brands or regions, each number can have its own business profile and its own flows. To raise the limit, see Plans, Billing & Limits.
Troubleshooting
"Invalid token" on save: regenerate a fresh access token in Meta and paste it again — tokens can expire.
Messages send but no replies arrive: your webhook isn't verified or isn't subscribed to message events. Re-check the callback URL and verify token.
Sends are blocked: your number may be in a low quality state or you've hit a messaging tier limit. Reduce volume, message only opted-in contacts, and let the rating recover.
